1) can any one get an HIV infection when the virus is dead .?

when i was eating my lunch on hotel room bed i saw some stains on the bedsheet i just have a doubt that if that stains would be of HIV+ SEMEN and accidently some stains have entered my mouth will i get infected
2) i have one more question that for how much time HIV+ virus can remain alive in open air and if the dead virus enters somebodys mouth can one get infected with HIV+

The ONLY ways that HIV can be transmitted:

* having unprotected sexual intercourse (vaginal or anal) with someone else who is HIV positive
* direct blood contact, i.e. sharing needles with someone who is HIV positive, accidental workplace injuries (needlestick in a health care setting)
* from an HIV positive mother to her unborn child

HIV is NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE trasmitted by:

* mosquitoes or any other insects
* feces, urine, sweat, tears from an HIV+ person
* shared food or drinks with an HIV+ person
* casual contact (kissing, hugging, etc...) with an HIV+ person
* toilet seats
* swimming pools, hot tubs
* scratching a pimple
* someone who is HIV-
* dried blood
* saliva

THE PRINCIPLES OF HIV TRANSMISSION

Transmission of HIV is dependant on a number of conditions being fulfilled. Understanding these conditions gives a better understanding of how HIV is transmitted:

Firstly there must be a source of HIV infection. HIV exists in certain bodily fluids of persons infected with HIV. These include blood, semen, vaginal fluid and breast milk.

Secondly, there must be a way for HIV to be transmitted to the bloodstream of an uninfected person. Sexual contact, or sharing drug-injecting equipment are the most common routes of HIV transmission.

Thirdly, there must be a person susceptible for infection. HIV transmission only takes place from one human to another. Mosquitoes, for instance cannot become infected with HIV and pass it on to humans.

Finally, a sufficient amount of HIV must enter the blood of an uninfected person for infection to be established. If insufficient HIV enters the bloodstream, transmission of HIV infection will not occur.

If these conditions are not fulfilled, HIV transmission does not take place.

HIV cannot penetrate through condoms - if you used a condom during your encounter, you were protected from HIV. No need to worry.

I would strongly suggest that you go away and learn a little more about the HIV virus.
No. Of course it cannot be transmitted this way! The HIV virus does not survive well outside of the human body. There is absolutely NO way the virus (if indeed they were semen stains) would have been active.
Oh, and chances of infection via mouth are very low. You need to drink a fair amount of infected seminal fluid.
Ignorance like this is what perpetuates myth and misinformation. Please go and learn more!
