Risk of HIV infection?

a hiv person somehow transmits his saliva containing blood to the door opener/locker and left. a normal person uses his hands to open/close the door using the same door opener/locker. lets say he inserts his finger to a baby's mouth; the lip of the baby is bleeding. he inserts his finger after wiping his hands with a dried cloth. will the baby carry the risk of infection?

the Hiv virus needs a conducive environment for it to thrive. in those few minutes before he touched the babys mouth, the Hiv virus did not survive because transmission only occurs when there is an exchange of body fluids. Honestly, how many of us would have been sick if it were transmitted that way. Unless only if body fluids are exchanged can transmission occur.

there's a posibility i'm not sure though it could be.

Don't worry the baby is safe. The chances of the baby getting it or anyone else is very slim. But if your concerned take the baby to the doctor now and see what they tell you in person. Better safe then sorry!

I would not worry about it.

Are you thick enough to let anyone touch a baby without washing his hands? If so, yes, there is a possibility.

Normal person lol think youre meant to say someone who has not got HIV doesnt make them sub-human if they have it. i think a person with HIV would be very careful if they are bleeding, they would take extra precuations especially in public places.

why would he insert his fingers into the babies mouth? if all them what If's happened then there maybe a possibility but you would think a person would wash their hands before putting their finger onto a babies mouth if the person with HIv was not being extra vigilante.

I think this question is to hypothetical to be plausible!!! Unless is was in a third world country where good levels of hygene are hard to keep becuase of poverty and poor sanitation.
