Why do people find it funny to lie and make up fake HIV questions on here?

I would like to know why so many people are on here making up obviously fake questions and spreading false information and statistics about HIV and how it is spread, etc. Are people really this dumb or is it willful ignorance? I don't find any of it the least bit humorous. I think the median age must be 10 on here.

The do the same thing with herpes & the others.

How many times have I pulled this up & seen "HELP - MY PUSSY SMELLS (HAHA)"
It's kids. Alot of students in school have access to the internet & find it funny to do that.
The still laff at the words "fart & poop" also - so think of the maturity level & if we all stopped answering them, they'd stop

There is a lot of misleading information on every site that can be manipulated by the masses. You just have to be very careful about what you believe and who you believe. And of course, asking questions on here should just be a starting point for the actual research that the person does.

Sometimes even some of the silly and puerile questions can help make people HIV aware and take precautions, so even the stupid ones can be useful.

HIV is an incurable disease, and is not something to be treated lightly. I too find it distasteful to make fun of something so deadly, but that's life. Immature people will always do stupid things.

I've read some silly questions or statements on here, yes. I don't remember reading any regarding HIV. If you click on a thumbs down it should block their statements from your view. I usually do that when I think some are just being silly about something that is so serious as STDs.

there is lots of misleading info on this site, not just about HIV, but if these people can work YA they sure know how to look up the facts. If not and they get it they will find out the hard way, now get off the cross someone else needs the wood!

I agree, but I think that HIV is a scary subject for alot of people. It is important to teach others about HIV so that they won't be so ignorant.
