Is there any hope to cure HIV/AIDS? |
I am +ve since four years. I hope I will not die of it. Would you please supply information about the vaccination. I mean I wanted to have a child from my ten years marriage with a girl. We have never made any sex since I new that I am +ve. She is always on the sad that she did not have a child. That worries me. I have heard that mother-child transmission has been dependable but I did not believe it. All I know is that they hope to cure AIDS and Diabetes in 5 years. There is no vaccination or cure for HIV, the virus that can lead to AIDS. The main reason for that is that the virus mutates (changes) so much. One vaccine or medication may kill one or two strains of the virus, but not all of them. let me take you through some facts: The reason why AIDS is so tricky is because it mutates so fast. You could create a vaccine for it-but then there would be a new AIDS strand! Scientists are working on preventing people with HIV from getting AIDS. This article is interesting: Cure? No, I wouldn't think so. Viruses can't really be 'cured' except by your own immune system, and HIV is sneaky in that it attacks the very thing that is supposed to keep you safe. But there are plenty of highly effective treatments out there that can keep the disease under control. So is there hope for a cure? Probably not, but you can still live a very long and happy life even HIV positive, so long as you continue to take your medications. NO, the governmet realizes that more money can be made by making drugs that will lengthen a persons life with aids or hiv rather than curing them. If you are cured or dead, you cant buy anymore of their drugs. the virus causing AIDS changes its external structure very often and that is why a vaccine can't be done; it's the same with the viruses causing flu. yes they actually just cured a man with aids and he don't have it no more all you have to do is type it up and it will tell you about the man who got cured..but hey if you can stick around for at least 5-10 years most likely your going to be cured..and hey i wish the best for you I was told there is no cure for HIV. But people live 20years. Not the age 20 but yeah. You can live longer as long as you believe that you will...the main this is that you stick positive. Live life as is everyday was your last. Yes, there is hope. They learn more and more about it all the time and it can't hurt to hope for the cure, it is not unreasonable either. there is hope if you beleave in God,thats the only way coz he created you and he can reform you ether. I have heard there are people actually immune to the virus. Here's a link to WHO- http://www.who.int/hiv/topics/vaccines/V... I believe so. Someday. I have a feeling that it will probably come around in 20 years. Of course.. It will be the most significant scientific discovery ever made! There is always hope. Don't lose it. no.. i dont yet! |
