2 month injection and stupid nurse?

Hi all

I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm all the way in South Africa and recently decided to go for family planning. My sister in law advised me that the 2 month injection would be ideal for me as I am too forgetful to take pills and that the 3 month one made life difficult. I tried going on the internet to get information but thought I'd get better information from a state/public clinic which I was going to get my inection from.

The nurse was firstly very rude. She asked me (in a scolding way) why I was taking the injection so late and if I wasn't aware that I could be a rape victim at any time. I quickly responded by telling her that well, if I had an unwanted pregnancy I'd have an abortion and I had no idea the injection could stop AIDS/HIV and ease the trauma (sarcastically of course). She offered no info on the injection and its side effects, nor did she ask about my health. I got no pamphlet (which doubles as a clinic card) and has info on the injection at all. I think they were down to their last and handing out pieces of shoddy prints with no info but space for appoinments. I left there quite upset, bled for 3 weeks with major headaches and learned later from my sister in law that I could get pills to end the bleeding. Which the nurse did not inform me about (not that she informed me about anything)

Are there any actions I can take against her? Is it possible to go elsewhere for my 2 month injection and does being anemic cause any problems whilst being on the injection? Your help will really be appreciated

Thank you in advance

you should lookfor a better nurse or take the pill because if she dosnt do her job after all the pain dissapears you could sue them for you almost being injected with aids or a disease. try the pill.
