There is currently no vaccine or cure for HIV or AIDS. The only known methods of prevention are based on avoiding exposure to the virus or, failing that, an antiretroviral treatment directly after a highly significant exposure, called post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). PEP has a very demanding four week schedule of dosage. It also has very unpleasant side effects including diarrhea, malaise, nausea and fatigue.

Not yet. However, modern drugs can slow down it's development into AIDS extending the life of those fortunate enough to afford the treatments. One's lifespan is not cut very short like it was in the 70's and 80's with this disease. We have made lots of progress, but not enough to halt the contraction of it in its tracks.

well in our time it is almost impossible because of the fact that HIV for the moment that strikes our body change a lot so it would be impossible for us to know exactly what it is going to evolve to...

It can be cured, just like cancer, but the money is in the treatment and prolonged use of drugs, not a cure. Sorry, but it's true!

No, there are only medications for it at this time which stops the process so it does not progress.

eat less watermellon...
