What happens if you had sex with someone with sick cell blood type ? |
Does it affect you or does it go in your blood like HIV or leucemia ?? Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder that affects red blood cells. People with sickle cell disease have red blood cells that contain mostly hemoglobin* S, an abnormal type of hemoglobin. Sometimes these red blood cells become sickle-shaped (crescent shaped) and have difficulty passing through small blood vessels. Do you mean "Sickle Cell Anemia"? It's not a blood type, it's a disease. It is not contagious. It is inherited. If you are born with it you have it for the rest of your life. i don't know (what happens?) No Sickle Cell is a genetic disease.Predominate in African-Americans.If both parents have the trait then the child will have the disease |
