Family: Retroviridae
Genus: Lentivirus
Species: Human immunodeficiency virus 1 and Human immunodeficiency virus 2

Type of organism : virus

Size: approx. 0.08 um wide
Distinguishing features: smaller than most viruses and sort of spherical although its shape and size is very variable

How many are effected world wide: currently apporx. 33.2 million

Type of immunization: none available

Pathogen: retrovirus

Any aliases: Im not qiute sure what you mean by this but in some pats of the world its known as VIH, in Irish VEID.
