Yes, you can date an HIV+ person. You will have to be VERY careful that you do not contract the virus yourself, i suggest seeing a doctor and asking about ways to manage the risk. I am NOT CERTAIN but i think that you can still have children without getting the virus as it is only transfered by blood but you will have to do it via 'artificial' insemination so as not to put yourself or the child at risk. That is something that you would have to ask your doctor.

Even if he does not have full-blown AIDS, the HIV can be passed on to you through the exchange of bodily fluids. For that reason, I don't know how you could possibly have children with him without risking contracting HIV yourself and passing it on to the baby.

If having children is important to you, then you need to re-think this man as your marriage partner.
If you don't mind NOT having children, then you still need to see a doctor to be sure that you know how to protect yourself from infection.
