How long can a STD live on a foreign object such as a sex toy? |
and whats the probability someone would contract HIV from a HIV positive person without using a condom? Most STD's (except hep B) can't live outside the human body for any amount of time. That's why they are transmitted from direct body fluid to body fluid, or skin to skin contact. It depends who has the virus. If the woman is the one carring it it is not as likely she can give it to the man, but still possible. However, if the man has the virus it is MUCH more likely the woman may get infected. We learned in EMT class that the AIDS virus can live on a surface for up to 2 weeks. if your asking a question like this...i think you should go to the clinic and just get tested......always use a condom if your not with just one person....you never know what someone has...they could be the cleanness person and they could have some type of std or aids.....always be careful. |
