What are my chances of getting hiv if I have (unprotected) sex with someone who is confirmed with hiv positive?

Unprotected sex for both - your chances are pretty high - I would say more than 50%.
With a condom - still possible, especially depending on the type of STD - genital herpes is pretty high, because the condom doesn't cover that area, etc.

It's not a chance you want to take, not worth risking your health or your life. Always use a condom, every time. Why would you even think of having unprotected sex with someone who you know has stds or HIV??

And the truth is, the person you are having sex with could have HIV or an std and not even know it.There's no way you can tell if someone has HIV by looking at them, and generally there are no symptoms until it becomes full blown AIDS. Use a condom.

If you have a history of having unprotected sex with other partners you may want to get tested.

Chances are you will contract HIV and yes, even with a condom. If not HIV, then yes you could easily contract any other STD even if you use protection.

Why don't you just not screw anyone with diseases, and always wrap it up. Always always always.
