Laws that help/protect children orphaned by HIV/AIDS? |
Are there any policies or programs or laws that protect orphaned children left vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS? Or any laws that can help or protect orphans who are HIV/AIDS positive? Jenny- It's good that you are concerned about the welfare of HIV/AIDS innocent children. Most of the health care policies or programs in the USA are left to the individual states, counties, or cities. There are Child Protective Services throughout the country who do look after orphans, even with HIV/AIDS. You could probably locate one nearest you by phoning your local county health clinic or social services or even the police department. School officials would also know. Thanks for caring. |
