If a guy that has aids or is hiv positive , spit by accident in ones eye, can one get aids? |
I need clarification on this subject, this happened to me a guy with aids that he said he did, was speaking about 3 feet from me, is there any posibility? No, HIV is not transmitted through saliva. The HIV virus is a sexually transmitted disease, and is contracted through blood or semen. There is no evidence that suggests the virus is transmitted through saliva, tears, or sweat. I remember reading study about aids. It can only be given to others through sex and blood. However, even though it's pretty much physicaly impossible for saliva to contain enough of the strand from aids to give it to someone else, scientists determined that it would take around 7 or so gallons of saliva, from someone with aids to give it to someone else. Not unless his spit had a high concentration of blood in it like he had a busted lip or something. HIV isn't transmitted by you're spit, tears. Only blood or semen and it has to make it into your blood. Nope. The HIV/AIDS virus is not spread through saliva. He would need to have sex with you or almost literally bleed on you in order for you to get it. I teach HIV awareness through the Red Cross, it is not supposed to be transmitted by saliva, only through blood and sexual fluids. no not at all but a man just got sentenced to 35 years in jail because he was hiv positive and he spit in a kop's eye even though there is no proof sayin u can get it that way NOPE. its a sexually transmitted disease, needs to be transferred in blood or semen. No! Its contagious, but its not THAT contagious!!! no you will not cacth aids because you did not sleep with him aids is a sexual transmitted virs yes exchange of bodily fluids his spit your eye No! yes no aids is not active on someones saliva, tears or sweat.only sex or blood contact i think |
