How to tell my BF I'm HIV positive... HELP!!!?

Well sorry to all of you who were ready to type out slut on your keyboard ... >> I DO NOT HAVE AN STD << just an STD related question.

I was reading a magazine and inside they said there was a website where you could send E-Cards to people who you had sex with to let them know they're at risk of having an STD if you recently discovered you had contracted one. This is 100% real and can be sent with your e-mail attached or anonymously...

QUESTION: Would you use the e-card for good (informing your sexual partners of your STD) or evil (sending fake e-cards to ppl you hate)?... Or would you even use the e-card at all?...

This is the site:

FYI I wasn't trying to be funny by claiming I was HIV positive I was trying to catch peoples attention.

My cousin is HIV positive and I do not think its a laughing matter so please do not try to reprimand me ... thanks

well.... dont make love to him for one... sit him down and tell him gently.. make sure hes sitting... make sure he gets tested because if you wait to long he could also be positive and he could get full blown aids... i really believe that telling them slowly and surely on the couch or chair is the best way... if hes not positive and you still want to make love... make sure he wears a condom and dont give him oral sex...

Umm, no.. I'd want to tell them myself. That's just rude, give someone an std and then send them and "I'm sorry" ecard.. That'd make me a jackass.

Send it to everyone

I'm glad you asked the question ... but it's really not a joking matter, especially disclosing to one's boyfriend one's own HIV+ status. For those who are serious about it and want to know how best to disclose it, contact a local AIDS or STD agency and ask if they offer "Partner Counseling and Referral Services" (aka PCRS). PCRS is a service provided by trained counselors that will help you prepare for telling you partner, what you want to say, what questions or concerns your partner will likely have, and information about HIV and free anonymous local testing sites. Most HIV is spread by people who are totally unaware that they have it. Informing partners is one of the best ways to slow the spread of the virus.
