Could I be HIV positive?

I had unprotected sex (more like date rape) with this 21 year old guy who is HIV positive. It was not by choice, I was drunk and passed out when he got me hard and I woke up to him riding me. I pushed him off of me and I do not know how long he was on me, but I do know that I did not ejaculate. This happened 9 months ago, is it possible to have contracted HIV from him like this?

Its possible - but if he was riding you, its not as likely, and you ejaculating would have made no difference.
But i definitely recommend getting checked out. At 9 months after, it WILL show up in a screening. And the earlier you get it discovered the earlier you can be put on the drugs which help control it. Its not a cure but it helps - try not to drive yourself crazy worrying though, as its unlikely if you were the top. I hope you washed soon after too!

How a test for HIV works is they count the number of white blood cells you have per a certain measurement of blood (can't remember). HIV breeds in your white blood cells and bursts them after enough "copies" of the virus have been made. I just thought you should know that.

Symptoms that people often experience in the first few months/years are flu-like. You may also feel weak and tired and are more prone to other diseases than usual.

Regardless of suffering from these symptoms, you should get tested. If he was wearing a condom then there is a much lower possibility that you will have the HI virus. Good luck.

If you are still able to get in conatct with the person, then if you are found to have HIV then I think you can sue him. Also, you should consider charging him with rape because the sex was not consentual.

There is a blood/testicle barrier that keeps blood away from the semen, so you not ejaculating has nothing to do with the transmission of AIDS, The micro-tears in the lining od his anus and your penis where blood transfusion could take place is something to worry about.

I suggest you get tested right away, and then again in 6 months. If you are positive (and hopefully you are not positive) you might want to contact a lawyer and see if there is something you can do legally such as having medication taken care of.

You should have gone to the ER or DR that day.

Good luck babe.

Do go and get a check up at your local clinic, the sooner you know if you are negative or positive the better, and treatment if needed can be started. It will all be done in confidence and you will find them very supportive.
I do hope that all goes well and that you are negative, good luck.

For some reason I am having a hard time believing this story. If you had unprotected sex willingly just say so, if not you need to file a lawsuit against him or something because he infected you knowing he was infected and not to mention the rape that occurred.

Well if I were you, I would get tested. I mean who knows if you got the virus?

And if he was riding YOU and he came, then maybe it could've gotten in your bloodstream.

*You* not ejaculating has nothing to do with it.

Considering he was HIV positive, it'd probably be a good idea to go get tested, since, unfortunately, we cannot do that for you.

If you know for sure that he was HIV + then you definitely need to get yourself tested. The fact that you were the one penetrated puts you at an extremely high risk. Please get tested.

Well if he was on you then there is a very slim chance. The one being penetrated is more at risk than the one doing the penetrating but it would probably still benefit you to get tested anyway.

After such a long time you can go and get tested.
The test will tell you.

And, yes, there was a risk of getting HIV.

It's very possible. You could contract it from "pre-***".

you could be,,,but only a test will help you find out for sure. If you are,,,, locate the local police and charge him with both rape and attempted murder.
