Is it possible to live with someone with hiv, in a romantic way?

As a woman, the chances are much higher for you to catch than if the situation was reversed. Definitely refrain from oral sex all together, and always wear a condom during normal sex. To get your needs filled, get a toy and keep it clean.

If you are still worried about it, stick to toy play and use your hand to please him. Clean up right away and then cuddle. Its not as good as the real thing, but it will suffice.

Kissing and nonsexual contact is ok. You can theoretically get HIV transmitted via saliva, but it takes several bucketfuls. Don't get any blood transfusions from him and don't have sex, don't share needles, etc. If you can't handle that, then it's probably better to stop the relationship now. Remember, you'll never be able to have his biological child. Could you handle that?

Can't he get the super duper condoms? In other words, I think they are the Trojan whatchamacallits, and they have the nonoxylspermicide thingamajig coating. So, I think it can kill sperm. I guess the condom can help protect against HIV, and the nonoxy stuff cant hurt either.

Thus, I would suggest that you consult your gynecologist. Who knows? Maybe the ob/gyn has a solution that you did not consider! Hey! It's worth a shot. Just ask.
