About AIDS?

SUPPOSEDLY-

if a girl has unprotected sex with an hiv positive guy, and they pull out "almost" in time. PLUS they have oral sex both giving and receiving, and she swallows.. what is the liklihood of her contracting aids?

They have been doing this regularly for about 6 months

* Please just answer the question as it is stated.

unprotected sex is the same whether coming inside or no. You contract HIV also by oral sex but basically with intercourse (entering of penis inside the Vagina) . Pulling out is only to prevent pregnancy.

Chances of you becoming infected increase with frequency and time. You're playing Russian Roulette with your body.

Have you been tested recently? May already be infected. In which case, you don't have to worry bout it anymore.

Good luck.

OMG, I don't believe what I just read posted by Missy023.

I would say that the chances of the girl contracting HIV are near 100%.

You said that he pulled out "almost" in time which means that he ejaculated inside the girl. Besides that, HIV is present in precum, which means that he wouldn't even need to ejaculate at all.

The oral sex might be a problem, but probably not, swallow or no swallow, giving or receiving.

Don't listen to the first answer.
She has a high likelihood of contracting it.

Your chance increases depending on lots of things, like whether he is on antiretroviral drugs or not, whether you have cervical warts, whether you are already sick with something (even a mild virus or cold can lower your immune response to other infection like HIV), whether you have sores on your mouth, etc.

That said, unprotected sex is a very high-risk activity. Even pre-ejaculatory fluid can contain the HIV virus, and whether this enters your vagina or your mouth this is a high likelihood of infection. The risk soars higher if there are tiny cuts on your mouth, which is very common, as tooth-brushing and flossing both cause microsopic cuts on your gums, which will allow the virus to enter from the semen very easily into your blood.

I would say you had a high likelihood of having contacted the HIV virus sometime in your sexual past with your partner.

You asked what your chances of contracting AIDS are. AIDS is the disease that the HIV virus causes when it collapses the immune system. This can happen in anywhere from months to decades after infection depending on the person. However, there is treatment!!

This is very important: YOU CAN REDUCE YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING THE AIDS DISEASE SIGNIFICANTLY if you go to a doctor (there are std clinics in most cities if you don鈥檛 want to see your regular doctor or don't have one). People who get exposed to the virus (as you likely were) can get treatment of antiviral drugs. This treatment starts even BEFORE the 6 months it takes before you can test positive for an HIV test. Basically, this is a way to reduce the chance of the HIV virus taking over your immune system and permanently infecting you. These days there are some very good antiretroviral drugs available compared to fifteen years ago.

If you start getting treatment immediately, you can have a much lower chance of getting HIV and further along the road AIDS.

Good luck.

Almost pulling out in time isn't good enough. There would be pre-*** which has HIV in it as well.

With the oral sex, not as big a deal, if you swallow the acid in your stomach can kill the HIV.

Other things to consider is his viral load, if it's low or undetectable that is a type of risk reduction.

The problem if semen with HIV in it is in the vagina, it can live there for up to 5 days, which give it a LOT of time to get into the blood system.

This person needs to get an HIV test NOW and if negative again in three months, And condoms need to be used.

According to what you are saying then 'Yes' I believe you COULD get unfected!
I wouldnt be able to tell you the truth but your doctor should, just get tested and read online or with your doctor the symptoms and look out for them...
Hope I helped!

DO NOT listen to the 1st answer.....
And HIV spreads DURING the the intercourse....and not necessarily through ejaculation...... u develop micro cuts on your organs(sexual) during it and u might contract it from the pre-ejaculatory secretions(woman) and vaginal secretions(man).
As far as the oral thing goes.....if u swallow and if there is any sore or ulcer in your mouth.....or anywhere along ur digestive system.......there are chances of u getting it.

AIDS is only contracted from blood to blood contact, so kissing a guy or touching a guy or having sex with a guy wont give you aids. as long as you dont have blood contact, like throught the vagina or penis or you have cuts in your mouth and they bleed.
