I am looking for an organization to donate to that helps save lives in 3rd World countries.?

I am aware of compassion international and world vision, I just came upon bloodwatermission.com, they seem really good, any other suggestions? I want to donate to a place that helps people who are HIV positive, dying of starvation or need water or something else that saves lives that you can count. It must be a Christian organization.

See the documentary "Beyond the Call" and give to those guys. They fund their travel on their own and take supplies to the needy in places other aid organizations won't go.
DK if it's Christian but isn't it the opposite of Christianity (kindness) to demand that it must be? Needy are needy and giving should be giving. I'm not religous but I give to local Churches thrift stores. It's your $$$ but I think God will praise you for your kindness not judge you for whom it goes to.

I'm an African resident in Africa and I know that unfortunately, our brothers feed fat under the guise of receiving foreign funds for the betterment of the plight of PLWHA . If you candidly wish to help please go through your local church and its network and please,...Avoid all governmental organizations like a plague!
