Which kind of tablets can she use?

Mysister's cd4count is below 500,which vitamin tablets are good for her?(she's HIV positive)

Get a juicer and drink the juices of these foods

Parsley and Grapejuice (fresh, not store bought...use real grapes).

Beets and blackberry juice (blood builders)

Black currants (probably should just eat those straight, I don't know if they juice very well)

Pineapple

Keep those in mind for the blood building, and also consider juicing a variety of vegetables for other nutrients and variety to make sure she is meeting all of her nutritional requirements.

Add whey to any of the juices, all of which are blood builders as is the whey.

Your sister needs to eat a highly nutritious diet, full of raw fruits and vegetables and whole grains (as organic as possible also) and limit the processed foods as much as possible. This will help keep her nourished so that her body will have the ability to stay as healthy as possible. Juicing is a great way to get a ton of nutrients into the body that can be digested and used right away. Especially if she is feeling sick and unable to eat properly. If she wants to take vitamin supplements, go to a health food store and get whole food supplements. They are made from food, which makes it easy for the body to digest and use. As opposed to commercial vitamins which are often chemically derived and have limited benefits.

Also, as far as the juicing... For the green vegetable juices, adding fresh lemon to the juice cuts out the "green" taste and she can add an apple or some pinapple to sweeten it up. Carrot and celery juice is nutritious and tastes fairly good. Carrots add a good taste to most juices.

Hello,I am also HIV poz and my counts are 390.I have been on HIV meds 3 months now. With a proper diet she should only have to take a strong multivitamin.I also give myself B12 injections once a week.Tell her good luck I know how hard this disease is.She should also talk to her doctor and see what he recomends.A simple blood test will tell if she is lacking in other vitamins.
