ok so i had sex with someone I am assuming is HIV positive. We had anal sex and used a condom, but it broke before he came. He put on a new one within several seconds. I noticed that he usually has a lot of pre-ejaculatory fluid and I was bleeding from there. what do you think is the chance that i got infected with HIV? 50% chance? less? more? Your chances increase if his fluids mixed with yours. Since you were bleeding from your anus it means there was an opening in your anal area, if his fluids were able to enter that opening your chances of contracting HIV increase a great deal. Get checked, when that test comes back regardless of outcome (positive/negative), always run a second test to insure the outcome is correct Probably less but you should still go to the doctor and get checked you never know how often do you have anal? IF yrou used to anal and no tiny tissues broke in anal tract you might be ok but more than likley it was torn, you had open wounds and it went direct to bloodstream. BETTER GET TESTED NOW so you dont spread it and hurt others. with new drugs you can still live a long life but must know now. so if you assume that the person is hiv you should not have sex with him, well what you have to do is go and check it out, and if you dont try to be more careful next time at least 50% chance. don't be foolish. Get testest now and again is six weeks. Keep using condoms. I assume it is serious Get tested. A question for you as well; Why were you having sex with a heroin addict who just go out of jail. And anal sex at that? That places you at extreme risk of exposure to HIV (exposure and likely infection). And a week before that questions about sex with a man with a lump on his penis. BTW, your art is very good. You should take better care of yourself. less then 50% if the blood didn't get on any of your swores or in your mouth but other then that sounds like you have fun |
