Hypochondriac thoughts! Please help!!!?

About 3 months ago, a friend and I were hanging out and I bit him on his hand. On his hand where I bit him, there was a scab that I bit. The scab broke but he DID NOT bleed. I went and spit in the sink as well. If this person is HIV positive (not sure if he is or isn't) is there a chance that I could get HIV this way????

if you come into contact with contaminated blood you can get aids and other illnesses!!go to a doctor and get a hiv test just to be safe!!!

It usually takes a lot more fluid than it sounds like you came into contact with to contract HIV. BUt go get tested to ease your worries.

I wouldn't worry about it, because even IF he had HIV, the chances of you catching it as well are so slim (I don't know the exact numbers, but very unlikely). I have not ever heard or read of a single case where HIV was spread that way.

The way I see, if you do have it (which you do not) there is nothing that can be done at this point anyway. It is a good idea to get a HIV test though every year, just to be safe. It has been 3 months, so you can.
