I have a questions foe fans of the soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL? |
a few weeks ago robin had a scare that she was pregnant but patrick didnt have a scrare that he could be HIV positive? why not i know they use condoms but is robin could have been pregnant couldnt patrick had gotten hiv??? VERY TRUE!! I didn't even think about that. It had to be an over look on the writers parts. They seem to be over looking alot of things lately!! I know they use condoms and she is on the pill but I suppose the condom could have been defective like the ones ELQ made last summer! But it seems Patrick should have been somewhat worried about getting HIV which never even crossed his mind........... Things that make you go hmmmmmm???...............LOL I think that they have said before that her HIV is like "under control" or something so that she couldn't pass it on. I remember them saying that no matter how stupid it sounds...i am pretty sure they said that I think i have this right- female to male infection rate is very low- epecially with someone like robin who has been on meds for yrs. Since it turns out that Robin isn't pregnant after all, there's no reason to believe that Patrick is any more at risk now than at any other time since he's been sexually active with Robin. The safer-sex practices that R & P always use appear to be sufficient. Patrick had operated on a patient that had HIV and something went wrong where he thought that he contracted it but turned out he didn't. They do use condoms but I think Robin was all stressed out because of the pregnant lady w/HIV (you have to watch GH Night Shift) that she missed her period. Yes you are right I was thinking the same thing. But her viral load is so low that chances of her passing it are slight. Good point. He should have been going to get tested and Robin of all people should have pointed that out. The writers are letting that side of her slip. Since Robin has HIV her and Patrick take all the precautions when they are together. Patrick is at a very very low risk at getting HIV. |
