Ignorant a$$holes??

I heard someone saying they would not let their child play with another child with HIV!! How ******* ignorant is that!! The only way they could catch it is if they both had cuts and one's blood entered the other one's. I'm HIV positive and that pisses me off. I don't deserve it and neither do innocent little children!! If anyone does it's these people that discriminate!! They think there children are too good to play with them but the kids with HIV are probably much cleaner than your germy a$$ child. I hope they get AIDS so they know what it's like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I know that's a terrible thing but you can't blame they because they just get so scared for their child. I'm not saying they're right but it's just they're way of dealing with that situation.

Do you really hope that other children get aids? This world is filled with hate and disappointment. Trust me Aids is not the worse thing life has to offer. The hate of another human is a much worse sickness. It is from the heart and eternal.

I understand your anger but I hear it's wrong to wish people pain or sicknesses. So you probably shouldn't do that. Just know that they are ignorant and stupid and make sure you are a better mother to your child. Be a better person, sometimes it's contagious.

people are not educated enough to know better....she is paranoid....best not to tell others you got, unless its sexual...bet if she didn't know, she wd hv let that child play with the other child.....this is very sad...now children are suffering from this mess !!!!!!

I don't think the parents think there child is better or too good to play with a child that has hiv....they are just scared that there child will get it....once again....no educated enough about this virus

I can somewhat understand your frustration because i realize that 99.9% of people are ignorant. They have not been taught properly about HIV and don't really care to bother looking it up for themselves. But that's not just with HIV, it's pretty much with every disease. I agree with you that they are stupid people, but wishing that they had HIV, I think, is just your way of misdirecting your anger about you, yourself, having the virus. Someone messed up and gave it to you. Be angry at that person, not people who are not directly involved in your affliction. And, as new anti-viral drugs are produced every year, we come closer and closer to finding drugs that will be more effective in fighting this disease and, hopefully, one day curing it.

They don't let their children coz they fear that their children will get infected...Its general human psychology and there are many problems which are dangerous than AIDS in this world like plastic,cancer,hateredness,greedyness,je... etc

Because you are HIV + you totally understand the transmission routes, others still do not. Please try to understand how miss-informed the nation still is concerning this disease. I take care of and educate patients and their families daily on this subject, they really do not know. I don't think they are trying to discriminate against the other children, I think they are just scared for their own children. Try to place yourself in their place for a minute knowing they don't understand, wouldn't you have your children to shy away from others you knew were infected too? I am so sorry you and others have to suffer with being made to feel this way. The next time this happens try talking to the other person and educate them. Try not to condemn them or you will be doing the very thing you are accusing them of doing. Best of luck with your health.

Yes, I agree there is still too much ignorance regarding Aids.

I am sorry about your illness but please the world is so judgemental these days.It sounds like you are carrying alot of anger with you.Please alot of us out here sympathise with you but you will always get the odd person that wont.May be one day those who choose not to let the children play will one day have a different out look if it ever happens to them or a friend or family member.Please take care.

You know what? They dont know everything there is to know about Aids yet and no I would not let my little kid play with a child who had aids because little kids bite.If my child was older I might.You sound really ignorant.
