AIDS Campaign at High School?

Okay, I'm reposting this question because apparently a lot of people didn't understand what I meant.
The AIDS campaign is specifically to raise awarness about AIDS in countires facing the affects of poverty- like Sub Saharan Africa. It is not to tell high school kids not to have sex because they can get HIV.
It is to raise awarness that every 13 seconds someone dies becasue of HIV/AIDS, and the money raised will go towards educating people, and providing medical assistence to those who are already HIV positive.
Please, guys, this is supposed to be a great thing. I'm doing it through the Red Cross.
So, my question is:
What are some good ideas for the campaign that would get high school kids involved and raising money?

Try talking to the principal or school counselor about it. If there is a school newspaper see if you can get it printed in there.

To raise money, you can have car washes, bake sales, donation funds, contests, all kinds of stuff.

Talk to your friends about it. Put up notices around the school. Try to get as many people interested as possible. Actually you could talk to the teachers too because they can help spread the message to their students. Each classroom can even set aside a box for students to put money in for AIDS.

See if it is possible to form a group. This group can meet up once in a while --- say, once a week at lunchtime and twice a month after school --- to plan ways to raise money for these people.

Find websites about AIDS and Africa for facts to educate people about this issue. I can look around later for some links if you're interested.
