What is the meaning of this quote - "you don't start tinkering with morality to coincide with logistics."?

This quote is sourced from Boston Legal - Season 4, Episode 3.

Spoken by Adam Jovanka. The case is about a young girl of the age of 15 years who is taught abstinence at school who consequently, has unprotected sex with her boyfriend who is, in fact, HIV-positive. She is then infected with HIV. Ultimately, she takes litigation against the school for their abstinence-only program.

"Your Honor, I think we all agree that fifteen is too young to be having sex. Is there anyone here who takes issue with that? Sometimes, when the right answer is 鈥渘o鈥?you say no. You don鈥檛 start tinkering with morality to coincide with logistics. Kids need to hear 鈥渘o鈥?not 鈥渉ere鈥檚 how, just in case鈥?but 鈥渘o鈥? Abstinence was the right answer here. I think it means .. morality means that we are all humans and we make choices sometimes without thinking things through. Logistic thinking would have told her to never have sex to begin with. They are not in the same category. They cannot exist together.
