Fleas from animals and HIV...?

Hey guys got a question from you. I took my cat to the vet the other day. They did not have any fleas on them, but the waiting room was full of other animals that I am sure did. When I got home I had an itch, and when I scratched I burst a flea, and there was fresh blood, not from me but from from the flea that had been sucking blood.

Heres my question. I know HIV can't get into animals, but if that flea was sucking someone's blood that was HIV positive, and I burst the flea and got that blood on me, is there any chance of me being exposed to any type of risk of getting HIV? Can the virus live in the human blood once it has been sucked by the flea?

oh Lou, ya HIV troll, this is silly. You don't scratch and burst fleas. Anyone who has actually killed one would know that. Totally silly. I give this scenario a 2.

Cats do have a form of AIDS, and of HIV, and not to mention they kill rodents with Rabies...Fleas can not transmitt forms of aids. Mosqitos and various other insects can....as far is i know fleas don't have large enough teath to break the skin of a human. Most anmlas in the us can not transmitt AIDS and if the do its a different stand that dosen't effect humans, unless they are 110 years old
