Can HIV be cured ?? |
I saw an add in a local newspaper of Delhi..where a doc. mentioned that hiv can be cured. I gave him a call on the given no. and I talked to him abt his adv., he was dam confident that he can cure hiv thru his Homeopathic medicine the treatement time was for 6 months. He said there r 26 patients who r performing this trial. I met that doctor and the most amazing thing abt the meeting was when he said he is providing these medicines for free and the only feedback he wanted from us was HIV positive report with T-Cell counts, can anyone tell me is this thing going on in other cities as well?? and is there really a cure for this diesease, I also heard abt a hospital in mumbai who r also giving free medicines for hiv infected patitents...There are more than 5 persons infected with this diease who r very close to me and I want to save them so please help me...!!!! Think about it, if there was a cure for HIV wouldn't it be the fron page of every major newspaper? There always seems to be alternative medicines to cure ailments that Western Medicine (aka the FDA) has not been approved for. Currently there are drugs you can take to suppres HIV but nothing to cure it. As far as I know there is no "cure" for HIV. There are many drugs available that do improve quality of life and a person with HIV can live a pretty normal life these days. NO, NOT YET. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS. I would suggest a safer lifestyle. good luck! This is a scam. There is no cure for HIV at this time. NO CURE FOR IT THEY GIVE MEDS FORTO SLOW IT DONE Aids cannot be healed, once someone gets infected with HIV he keeps the virus in his body for rest of his life. However there are antiretroviral medicines that fight the symptoms of Aids and can prolong the life of the infected person so he can live for decades with the virus. These medicines have to be taken for the entire life of the infected person, they have side effects, but they can give them more years of their lives. I don't know about the costs and availability of these medicines in India, but try to get information on this from hospitals and doctors. Maybe this is what is given in that hospital in Mumbai. I don't trust in this homeopathic medicine. I don't think that it can be true. Not yet, but there are just tons of people raking in money from the desperate people out there. There are always people selling snake oil or other nostroms to people who want to believe. And of course it is all free --- ha, for awhile... what a joke...... They get rich doing it. And "cures" that don't work for diseases that scare us all have been out there for centuries---Steve McQueen went for coffee enemas, laitril was a biggie for awhile, made from apricot pits, both of these for cancers of one sort or another ------ this list is endless. For sure there are people in 3rd world countries -- Mexico, Brazil, India, China, etc., that would certainly be willing to treat you for just about anything you want.... and sure, even free. But there is always a hooker that they never tell you about until you are in their "study". Then suddenly, the big confession, "Oh, we are out of our medications, and need you to help us financially for awhile.... we'll refund your money once the trial is over......" Yeah, sure.... What a joke..... HIV and AIDS as yet is not curable. It is managable,with modern meds, but no cure. And you can be damn sure that if there was a legitimate cure, the biggie drug companies would be on it in a flash........ no silly! No never. Their medicines interfere with the ELISA test to detect HIV.They claim they have cured it.They also "cure "some people falsly positive by ELISA whom will be neg when tested at later date.In India anything will happen.Our ganeshji is the classical example still drinking a lot of milk !!!!!! HIV is not curable, it is a virus; once you've been infected there is no way to get it out of your system. yet no authenticated cure i read in "Advocate" that doctors had made a pill that can prevent HIV/AIDS. I dont think its a cure, but its helps to prevent it. I dont remember exactly what the pill was called, I look it up tomarrow and get back to you. Nope, there is no cure for HIV HIV/ AIDS is NOT CURABLE , currently theres no cure in any branch of medicine, be it allopathic or homeopathic or any other alternative field of medicine. Yes u can treat which means basically HIV virus destroys the immune system of the body and the body becomes weak as it cannot protect itself from forgiegn substances or any injury, normally when a human body is faced with injuries or infection, immune system comes in defence and protects us but this is lost in HIV infected patients and the body becomes a host of many diseases, i mean normally we recover from acute diseases quickly but here it takes longer time or it doesnt get cured as the immune system is weakened. one can take medicines for the various diseases a HIV patient suffers from and then there are many medicines avaiblable to strengthen the immune system which can lengten the life span and even improve the quality of life. in the western world these medicines are fairly available and an HIV patient can live up to 10 years ( maximum ). So please dont get lured by such claims, i know there are many fake/ Quacks in india who claim cure for anything. this homeopath is maybe just conducting one of his experiments, if u wish to volunteer, its up to u but please take everything in to consideration first. also a positive attitude and living the life to the fullest is more important. i hope this answers ur question whether HIV is curable.
