Does a positive person's hiv status travel to the local health department of a new town he moves to?

Does a positive person's hiv status travel to the local health department of a new town he moves to?

Thoe are private records and nobody knows about them unless you become government or state property (a criminal or member of the military).

Not ahead of them, it isn't a scarlet letter, but when they go to a new doctor he'll request their medical records. Of course, by then it's most likely the patient has already told them about it.

If you have HIV you had better be telling everyone about it. This question seems a lot like the "I have a friend... and this friend..." Yes, your medical records travel with you.

yes it does as soon as you go to the clinic in the new town they will know because the centre for disease control was notified as soon as you were diagnosed...my Friend moved to a small town and thought it wouldn't fallow him and he cant even find a dentist to give him a check-up because of his status
