Absolutely not. The only way to contract HIV from somebody else is through direct contact with bodily fluids. Therefore, if the HIV person had used the scissors and somehow got blood on the scissors and you somehow ate that blood or mixed that blood with your blood you would get it. As you can see, that is highly improbable.
You can also contract HIV through sexual contact, and sharing hypodermic needles along with what I talked before about with direct body to body fluid contact.

Remember:
You cannot get HIV from using a scissors, pencil, pen, phone etc...
You cannot contract HIV from hugging, touching, kissing, or shaking hands with an infected person.
You cannot get HIV from sharing food with that person.

You CAN get HIV from:
Direct body fluid contact like blood and sperm.
Sharing hypodermic needles.
Having sex with an infected person (however, if you use protection you reduce your chances of contracting the disease by a great deal).

I agree with Vince, except, he would have had to stab the both of you really quickly. HIV cannot live outside the body!!! I have read that by 5 seconds, the virus is dead.
