You can't artificially 'boost' your immune system safely, except if/when the need arises for ARV therapy. There is a misconception about vitamin therapy, that it helps everyone. Talk to your doctor about whether you'd benefit.

You can't guarantee that the vitamins in supplements are in a form readily used by the body, i.e. have good bioavailability. If someone is deficient in certain vitamins, perhaps more will be absorbed, but basically the body will take what it needs (if it can) and excrete the rest. Most of the compounds in supplements are excreted by the body. Most bioavailable forms of the vitamin compounds are from food.

The best way to keep healthy for as long as possible is to maintain good nutrition AND hygiene, and refrain from drugs/excessive alcohol if applicable.

Do NOT take anything without asking your doctor first. There are lots of OTC drugs, including vitamins and other supplements, that can interfare with your HIV anti-viral meds.

thats right...u should consult doctor for everything before taking any medicines.
Alternatively what u can do is get some ayurvedic cleaning done for your bone after consulting your doctor.....which is called panchkarma.....they actually cleans all the blockages from your body and wash out the toxins...this might make you more resistant to infections.
