Can two people who are HIV positive be intimate with each other without their conditions being worsened? |
Can two people who are HIV positive be intimate with each other without their conditions being worsened? Yes, it's possible. There are different strains of the virus, though. You can become infected with a more aggressive virus than the one you have. Some people choose to not worry about it and are fine. Others are affected...there is really no way to tell if it will happen or not. yes They both already have the disease, so there is not much more that can happen. No. They won't worsen each others condition. But please remember that if one of them suffers from an infection (even mild infections flare up in case of overt aids as the immune system is compromised by the H I virus (human Immune deficiency virus); then chances are the the other partner will get herself/ himself infected with that organism (bacterial or viral) too easily. The titer (concentration of aids virus in the blood) in either of the partners won't change. I'd have to say no. Not everybody has the same strain of the virus. My doctor told me this. So you could still pass different strains onto each other. Yes,what they should do is to go and have a good counselling on their condition, they will be directed on how to do all what they are to do.They will be guided how to live a positive living without lossing any aspect in life, they can even have a child who will be HIV free, remember they should be on drugs(antiritro viral drugs)dailly, goodluck Remember, people die from oppurtunistic conditions that are much more deadly and effective on immunosuppressed patients. These can include OTHER stds, and things as simple as a yeast infection. So if one partner was afflicted by one of the conditions (I believe there are 26 of them now), the other partners condition could be worsened. If his/her tcell count is low enough, they could be diagnosed with AIDS instead of just being HIV positive. that is a very good question. well if you have it and your partner has it you probably can get much more sick but that doesn't mean it's ok but hey if you just gotta have sex then go ahead |
