Is president Mbeki really HIV positive? |
I see that various people on this forum say this. Dont know? Maybe he was careful and always took a shower, I don't know as he has not diclosed publicly his status. I just wonder how Bull5 and Co. come to this conclusion. As far as i know you can only know a person's status once they have been tested and publicly announced their status. That's why I've asked Bull to disclose his sources. It's his type of postings that create unnecessary tensions here... but it's his choice!!! Ask the Mrs? No, he is not. This rumour is spread by some angry angry angry people on this forum, who try their best to discredit and also never accepted the government of the day from the very beginning. The rumours that Mbeki as well as numerous other leading ANC ministers having contracted the HIV virus has circled the internet and media for several years now, it is reported that he receives antiretrovirals from Europe under an assumed name so as not to disclose his status to the public. Yes he is. I received proof of this from a respected Health professional at the weekend but obviously I cannot reveal details on this site because of the ANC members who are on here and the witch hunt that would follow. What I can tell you is that the ARV's are brought in from Sweden via the Rosebank Clinic and distributed to him (and Beetroot) under assumed names. There are many, many more ANC "politicians" who are HIV positive and on ARV's which was also confirmed to me but I do not have all their names. However, let me give the ANC faction some clues. The Medical Representative fraternity are very talkative when it comes to passing on information particularly where the ANC is concerned. They were the same when the Nats were in power and tales of Pik Botha and his alcoholism antics were numerous. In this case my confirmation comes from a well qualified and highly respected Health Professional and I have no reason to doubt the veracity. That reminds me a bit of a previous question: Can there be truth in gossip ? My answer is that gossip is usually the truth. We don't know he never said he was or he was not. |
