HIV only live in the sperm liquid / cement, not in the sperm.

So yes it is possible for HIV (+) male & HIV (-) female have a HIV (-) baby.

Btw, if you planned to have baby, you better try artificial insemination. Just to be sure, because they will "wash" your sperm 1st for this procedure.

It is possible but not probable. They have bloodless c-sections available in some parts of the U.S. and the success rate is pretty good. I am not certain how is fits though when the male is the carrier. I am really not trying to be mean but...Why risk it? It would be a terrible and selfish thing to bring a carrier child into the world and then have to go yourself leaving the mother to care for it only to lose it as well as you. I was best friends with a boy in elementary whos parents had him and he was born HIV positive. He was born to die young and was always so sad. Wondered why that life was forced on him. He died at the age of 9.
