If u are HIV positive is it not good for your health to drink other immune boosters and not only ARV? |
MY AUNT IS HIV POSITIVE AND I WANT TO BUY HER OTHER HERBS AND MEDICATION THAT HAVE MADE HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE LIVE LONGER.SHE TOLD ME ONLY YESTERDAY THAT SHE WAS POSITIVE BUT I HAVE SUSPECTED IT FOR A LONG TIME.I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO OR SAY TO HER BECAUSE WE ARE SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER AND I DONT WANT HER TO DIE.HOW CAN I HELP HER TO KEEP LIVING FOR A LONGER PERIOD.I REALLY LOVE HER. I dont think herbs or anything like that is going to help all that much unless they have been documented to work in a research journal somewhere. I would recommend you check with a couple different doctors who have a specialty in this area. I am not a 100% sure but im pretty sure if you live in the US there are quite a few different drugs that can let someone with HIV live practically a normal life and live for quite a long time 20+ years with the disease. I do not know what these drugs are called but I think they are really expensive and I dont know if they are covered by insurance or not. So I think this is up to you aunt as to hw much treatment she gets but she (I think?) she should be able to live a long time with todays treatments just make sure she gets more than one opinion and that goes for any type of disease. I am a case manager working with HIV positive indivdual and taking your medications and visiting your HIV doctor is very important also she should have case management service in place. I hate to hear that about your aunt. But I believe if she visit her doctor on a regular and take her meds like she is s'pose to and think postive and pray she will live a Long Life. |
