What is prevention of HIV? always use condom while having sex dude.. it is the easy way to prevent it..am i correct??? Abstinence from sex, or proper use of condoms for all sexual activity, and not using/sharing needles for drug use are all effective in prevention of HIV. abstinence (not sexually active) and staying away from drugs (needles) is the ONLY full-proof way to prevent HIV. Abstinence (not having sex) is the only perfect way to avoid it. Don't listen to a word that PapaRatzi says. The best way to prevent HIV is absence of sex staying straight and don't use drug needles.
