Acute HIV rash? |
What exactly does an acute HIV rash look like. Does it look like pimples, or would it be more red and rash like. Would it be itchy? I have always had bad skin, had bacne if you may, so maybe I never noticed, but the other day I was looking at my sides, under where my armpits may be, and I noticed I had a few pimply looking things, maybe 5 or 6 on one side, and then maybe 8 or 9 on the other, scattered throughout, not really concentrated in one area or anything, or itchy, or red or blotchy? I know my diet has gone to crap in the last month because I have been stressed out w. my job and school, and I know stress and bad diet can cause bad skin conditions. Only reason I ask is I had a sexual encounter w. a woman and the condom broke and we kept going since the condom had already broke. I caught a common cold like 4 days after, but it was just head congestion, no aches or fever, or vomit, or anything, and now these pimples are there, which could have been there forever for all I know. Wow.. you are really panicking over this....poor thing...next time you know when the condom breaks.. anyways.. yes the rash would itch... and usually as far as your cold symptoms.. the symptoms you get after you first get infected with HIV are Flu Like.. not Cold Like.. sore muscles, fever, fatigue... not runny nose, or congestion... I think you need to stop worrying so much about it.. you're finding things wrong with you... if you are worried though, you could always go get tested.. find a friend to go with you- makes it easier... you would have to do it again in 6 months.. but it would put your mind at ease |
