Hi i have a question regarding hiv?

i would just like to first say that i'm a teenage straight guy and i'm still a virgin but about a week ago i went to an adult bookstore and purchased a masturbation sleeve. when i got home i opened the box and forgot to wash it out and used it. it was in boxed and in a bag inside the box but the bag wasn't like the ones that are sealed. after i did the deed i kind of became paranoid that their could be a chance that i could contracted hiv from it and i've also noticed having some of the symptoms like chronic head aches. is there a chance that i could've or could it just be in my head? isn't it also illegal to resell sex toys if they were taken back?

hiv needs a live host to transmit

did no-one ever tell you that you could just use your hand and not get a disease?

The HIV virus is very unstable when its exposed to air and the environment, so I can honestly say, I seriously doubt you picked up HIV from the sleeve. The likelihood of getting hepatitis is much higher since the hepatitis virus can live for up to 4 days on a surface.
Lets face it, if your purchasing sex toys from a sex store, they are probably all kinds of dirt bags out there messin with their stuff. Next time take the toy home and wash it off before using it. I seriously doubt there is anyone watching the sex toy trade for returns.

it's just in your head.

even if somebody infected with HIV had used it, returned it, and the shop re-sold it the virus could not survive long enough to infect you. it is a very fragile virus when not protected by a nice warm moist body--exposure to air kills it pretty quickly.

hey!! i don't think that u should be worried! it sounds like your just making yourself think that you have this...its impossible for you to get HIV from a masturbation sleeve!!
