can an hiv positive person get a belly piercing?
she doesnt get sick or have any symptoms or anything
i just wanna know if its fine for her to get one and how serious is it if she did . she is very scared but its been something she always wanted to do so i wanna help her out . she asked a proffesional piercer and he said he wud pierce her but she needs to know the consquences. she will clean it very well and everything but is there a chance of more serious things?
please let me its very important

Infection can be a serious problem for someone with HIV because their immune system is compromised. As long as she is careful she can get it done.

i think the hiv positive person should talk that over to their doctor about piercings..it may be okay. and i dont think its wrong for a hiv positive person to get their belly button pierced. shame on that person for saying such a rude thing like that..

WHAT THE HELL spitfire...really what is your problem how could you say something like that

its definitely ok for her to get piercings..as long as the person doing the piercing follows all the necessary precautions such as using gloves, using alcohol, etc.

Spitfire u r such a *&^%$! How could you say that? What if it was your momma or a family member of yours. Theres nothing wrong with her getting one why dont u grow up and stay off this site if your not gonna positively help someone with your answers.

well, if the piercer doesn't clean his tools properly, the HIV would still be on them. I wouldn't do it but don't take my word for it.

spitfire...u r sick in the head!!! i don't really know the answer to ur question. i don't really see why ur friend couldn't and if the professional piercer was willing to do it??

well, i think its a prettystupid thing to do. what does it matter though? an HIV positive person is just going to die- who cares what theur bellybutton looks like?
