Could I be infected with the HIV virus? |
I was in a strip club and had a lap dance.Could I be infected with the hiv virus and/or any STD? and when do signs and symptoms appear? like a month or two or a year? thanks in advance Hey John, HIV is transmitted by exchange of bodily fluids from one person to another (blood, semen, vaginal fluid, saliva, etc.). If you did not "exchange" fluids with your stripper then you should be fine. Any genital-genital, genital-oral, or genital-anal contact can transmit an STD. Herpes is transmitted by skin to skin contact with an infected area (finger-genital for example). Most lap dances are not this intimate, but maybe your club is different. I hope this helps. The only way that HIV/AIDS or any other STD can be transmitted is by touching genitalia, or by having sex. Also, just because the woman who gave you a lap dance worked at a strip club, doesn't mean she has a STD. No. You would have had to have skin to skin bodily fluid contact or a blood transfusion or if you use used needles on yourself. If you're that worried, you can get a simple blood test at the doctor. If you did not have any sexual contact or your genitals didn't touch, then no. You can't get HIV through skin to skin contact. HIV can only be spread through a sexual intercourse and symptoms show up in a few months to a few years. It really depends on the person. A lap dance will not infect you. If you have never tested do it as soon as you can. THen 3 months after risky sex. A lap dance will not cause HIV. The question is did any if her private juices touch your friend or pants? I do not think you will have any problems. you got a lap dance? im pretty sure thats all you got so, no you dont have HIV Precaution...heard of it? i have never heard of postcaution...so what d'ya think?. lol. |
