Does the symptoms of early hiv infection happen all at once?

Does it happen all at once like... cough, sore throat, swollen glands, weight loss? or over time one symptom after the next.

It takes time for the symptoms to manifest. They don't all of a sudden show up.

Early Symptoms of HIV
Some people develop symptoms within a month or two of exposure to HIV. These people have a flu-like illness with the following symptoms
1. Fever
2. Rash
3. Headache
4. Loss of appetite
5. Swollen glands
6. Achy muscles
These symptoms usually disappear after a week or so. People who experience these early symptoms don鈥檛 experience any other signs of infection for a few years.

They don't always happen all at once, in fact it is far more common to only get 1-3 of the symptoms.
