Please help me.. is this oral thrush or someother?? plz help me to overcome my anxiety..?

hi everybody..
from the past 2 months my tongue looks like this.. please click this link..

is this oral thrush or someother.. i am very much eager to know about this.. my doctor said that is not at all a problem..

but by googling i came to know many things like it is one of the early symptoms of cancer or HIV or etc..

it is causing some irritation and slight itching.. other than that everything is ok..

please reply me..
what is the cause for this??
plz help me to overcome my nervousness...

HEY HARRY as a nurse if your toongue has looked like this for 2 months go to emergency room NOW..... if it was THRUSH you would now it you would not be eating or drinking or moving your tongue seriously it fricking kills I caught thrush from my now 17 yr old when she was like 2 and I decided to hold her pacifier in my mouth while changing her... she did not have any pain yet so I did not know she had it but let me tell you with in a few days she was crying and I was calling doctor cause it actually hurts...

you are building up your anxiety over something that would be easily treated by the doctor with an oral rinse antibiotic or pill for god sakes GO TO ER or call YOUR DOCTOR now do not go another day like this as it is most likely contagious and anyone who drinks out of a cup used utensils you have used sleeps on pill you drool on toothpaste could catch it....better to know and treat than to avoid and get worse

If your doctor says it's not a problem, don't worry about it. Get a second opinion if you need to.
