How can you protect yourself against this stuff help!!!!!? |
I am 14 ys old and not to long ago like yesterday we had people come to our school who taught us about Genital warts crabs herpes and HIV AND AIDS so i am scared to have sex now . i mean i wanted to like allot until i learned about this **** so how do you know if these people have these symptom You don't know! That is the whole point! You can NOT tell by looking at someone if they have a sexually transmitted disease and though condoms do offer SOME protection they do NOT guarantee your safety. You just always have to use protection, every single time! There is no way to know for sure if someone has an STD. Even if you do get the guts to ask them, they might lie. You really just need to ask questions like, "how many people have you been with?" or "have you ever had unprotected sex?" You are the only person that can protect you. You must ask questions of your partner. You must always have condoms available, or you do not have sex. You must set standards for yourself, and stick to them. Prepare yourself. Just that you're asking questions is a good thing. But, I know you don't want to hear this, but you shouldn't be having sex right now anyway. You can't tell with most STD's you should wait till you are older married is best the more sex partners you have the greater the risk.Men and boys don't like to use condoms and they are the best protection but you are 14 you are not old enough to purchase these and guys just won't you should be scared some stds are deadly!! you never know until you really get to know the person and its not good just having sex just to have it. Well... usually i can tell by what she does. Like if all she wants is sex then there is something not healthy about her. Oh and by the way condom does not help i'm sorry. Some of these things are viruses which are much much more smaller than bacterias, so obviously they can go through condoms (remember condoms are porous which means they have tiny little holes). You never heard of many women who got pregnant even while having protected sex? We are also dealing with fluids here and i'm pretty sure some of it will slip out onto your vagina while having sex. But seriously... there is no such thing as protected sex, it's just a much safer sex.... Have a monogomous partner a gf only have sex with 1 person...if you guys are both virgins that is even better..learn how to use a condom and always wear it to protect against pregnancy and stds..or you could always focus on other things and abstain till your'e ready thats a good option cause you are pretty young. Get condoms and don't have sex with anyone if they look like they have anything wierd on the outside down there like little bumps or bright red rashes or bugs crawling around or anything like that. Look at them down there before you touch them with your penis or vagina!!! Always use a condoms if you aren't sure. That will keep things from getting inside you from their body. well that is the problem, people don't know that they have stds until they get tested, but if you stay abstinent you won't have a prob with it,or some don't even know until their 20s. also you wont haev them inless ur parents have them when you were born. or if u are pure you won't have them. You never have sex with a partner unless you both get tested. AT LEAST use a condom... and wait until you're sixteen. Better yet, wait til you're in love and masturbate like hell and read about sex techniques so you can please your first love well. ALWAYS use protection. Don't sleep with anyone until your an adult and in a committed loving relationship. That way you can ask your partner to get tested and if he loves you he won't have a problem with it. If you have to ask a bunch of people on YA! how to protect yourself then you sooo do not need to be even thinking about sex. Why did these people not tell you themselves? By properly wearing a condom, and it also helps with the whole teen pregnancy issue. But it must be every time and right from the start, as soon as the pants come off the condom goes on. Erm, I was playing with G.I.Joes when I was 14. Well, you can ask... Then again, they can lie to you. It's impossible to know unless that person gets checked and they tell you, otherwise the only way to protect yourself is to stay sexually pure and wait for marriage. :) you and me r alot alike i was so scard when Latisha came to talk to my school 2 to 3 weeks ago tell the person u like to get tested if you need some one to talk to my email is Supergirl3626@yahoo.com abstinence or condom and also you could ask your partner to go get tested with you prior to making love that could be an option and making it a fun event for the both of you. Didn't they balance the fear of STD's with the knowledge of condoms? Just wear protection at all times!!!! ANYONE can have an STD.... Look at Pam Anderson! It's called a condom. Its called a CONDAMN!!!!!!!!!!!! don't have sex. That's the only sure fire way to avoid STD's don't have sex dont have sex don't have sex or if u do use a condom everytime be picky, and wrap it up. stay away from hood rats get tested wait 'till you're married or at least 18 |
