Does this sound like a HIV symptom?

The right side of my neck hurts and I have no clue why. Its like cramping and it's been like that for like 5 days and I have had off and on headaches on the right side of my head the same side where my neck hurts. I've only had sex once with this dude I was dateing and I told him to take his dumb *** to get tested and he's acting really weird and he's not doing it like he knows he has something. Am i going to die? And I got tested Feburary 21st and we did it like on the 15th.

Oh &+ I already got the results back last week they we're negative. But i'm still buggin out I never had to go through anything like this before

That doesn't SOUND like its AIDS or anything. Besides, you can't usually tell if you have AIDS until several months later, sweetheart. Try not to worry yourself!

It sounds to me like you just have a sprained neck muscle, possibly from sleeping crooked. Try and talk to the guy and let him know that you mean business! And that you are truly worried. If he still wants to act complacent, or whatever, just get the results back and see for sure. Or get tested for other STD's as well.

Well, Im not to sure but I know for a fact that it can sometimes take up to three months after the act before the hiv antibodies can be detected in the blood! My advice is wait 3 months then get tested again...don't trust his word trust your instincts! Better safe than sorry

It takes up to 6 months for HIV to show up in the blood stream and be able to test for it. I would talk to a doctor about your concerns and just follow along with a doctor when anything else unusual happens.

Men refuse to get tested for many reasons. He may or may not have HIV, the only thing YOU can do is get yourself tested again. However, I don't believe you'd have HIV symptoms so quickly.

the hiv virus symptoms dont even show up til like six months after uve been infected. it could be somethin as simple as an infection. dont worry bout stds when it comes to ur neck. it could have sumpthin to do with an artery too....

if you suspect hiv. go see a doctor ASAP!!
