Please help i dont know what else to do? |
i have been ill for 3 months starting with nausea, vomiting and shooting pains all over my body i am a 27 year old female i have been to doctor after doctor with only 1 doctor(neuro) who believed me after seeing swelling in the optic nerves in my eyes. optimologist suggested pseudotumor cerebri but spinal tap pressure was 18 normal/high MRI showed a small lession on the right anterior parietal subcortical white matter but no change in the past 6 weeks my doctor said with no change it is unlikely a glioma. i have a crp of 18.88 which is really high right and a white blood cell count ranging from 6,000-16,000????? anything other that that everything else i had done was negative such as MS, bacteria in spinal fluid, blood cultures, rheumatoid factor, ana, hiv, epstein barr, cmv, gall bladder function, chest xrays, encephalogram, transient echocardiogram......all normal or negative. i still feel ill and what makes me think that there is something wrong is my rising crp which had been 9.42-10.43, 11.48 and now 18.88 i know it means inflamation but what could it be cancer??????? doctors say they dont know what to make of it and left it at that is it related to my other symptoms. i am running out of options because doctors dont know what to do it is to the point where i pay a 30 dollar co-pay for them to say "i just dont know what to make of this" what else to i do if anyone knows what to make of this i will take any advice please help me i am very scared Get a referral to an Endocrinologist.
