I am seriously freaking out!! I have a white spot in my mouth and it is said to be a symptom of AIDS!!!?

I am 16 and I haven't had sex and live a pretty safe lifestyle. Yesterday I got this small white dot on the bottom of my teeth (like on the skin below) and it really hurts.. i looked it up on google and after one glance and seing titles "aids/ hiv symptoms" i stopped looking cause i freaked out... what can it be? CAN IT BE NOT AIDS???

Sounds like a canker sore which is harmless.

Not it isn't AIDS.. but it sounds like you have the beginnings of a tooth abscess. It may just be a gum infection, but sometimes a tooth is involved too. The dot no doubt has pus in it. A dentist can address it. Or you might be able to bring it out by using hot salt water swishes in your mouth or just lots of listerine. If it is a tooth abscess you're gonna know it pretty soon because you'll really start to swell.

Yes, it's probably a canker sore.
I sometimes get those. They usually form after a predicament in which I am brushing my teeth and then the toothbrush slips off of my teeth and nicks the inside of my mouth. And then a canker sore appears shortly after and provides pain for a few days.

Dude or Gal, are you sure that you haven't did anything knowing that AIDS is a STD??? C'mon!!! If you haven't had sex you have nothing to worry about, but if you have and you're worried, just go get tested to be on the safe side

if there is a white lump on your gum and it hurts, it's an ulcer.. and they are very VERY common.

Relax. It's not AIDS. It's probably just an ulcer from being rubbed, or it might be a cold sore, which most people have. Have you kissed anyone new lately?
