Could this have caused HIV? |
Okay so back in January, about 6 months ago, I had a thing with this guy. I know he had had a couple more partners then me but I knew most of them so I wasn't worried when we started hooking up. Okay so one night we were kissing and it got heated and he asked for a ******** (sorry), and I said no but he decided I would be giving him one anyways. So he came in my mouth and I was pissed so I ran to the bathroom and spit it out and went home, never to talk to him again. Oral sex is considered a low risk activity for HIV. It is actually a rare occurance it is passed this way. Saliva has enzymes that break down the virus. If you have cuts in your mouth, the risk is higher. What you did was very low risk. I understand how you are stressed, but since it has been 6 months get a HIV test done for your peace of mind. If you don't know where to go www.hivtest.org will tell you where there are clinics in your area. |
