Help Scared Of Hiv please help!? |
i am 16 years of age (male) and had sex once in my life which was unprotected i feel very stupid! she was 16 also it was very short session! but now im scared i have hiv even though i had no symptoms at all insept for jock itch and the doctor said i had the flu about 5-6 months after the time of sex! PLEASE HELP! you probably don't have it so calm down. same as everybody says, if she was a virgin then you don't have it. the flu is a common symptom of hiv but is not know to the public except for health professionals. Most people that contract HIV have flu symptoms WITHIN the 1st month of exposure so you don't have it if the flu happened in 5-6 months. this is because the immune system takes a dive so your body feels like crap. I work at a clinic and this is a question that we ask everybody that comes in. If you live close to a city then you can look on line for free HIV testing. Check on your counties health department web site. HIV testing is free and anonymous to all age groups when done through most programs. It can give you the piece of mind that you need, and believe me, most of us have been there! The jock itch is nothing to worry about and is common at your age. calm down you probably dont have it, and yeah if you were her first then definitely not. if you were her first then don't worry buddy |
