Hiv symptoms,,,i slept with some one back in january,,,2 weeks later i had the flue,,but no fever,,just runny?

it could actually be mono, which is caught by something as simple as kissing, or sharing a drink. mono isn't permanent, but it usually takes a couple of months to get over. it's like a long term sickness.

the symptomes of mono is a very weak, tired feelings, along with symptomes similar to the cold and flu.

go to the doctor and definatly get check out.

Some people will get a flu type illness a couple of weeks after transmission of the hiv virus. This is picked up on a blood test 3 months after transmission. I doubt it will be this in this instance but as you do not know the blood content of any individual you have unprotected sex with, use a condom.
Unprotected sex is no different than allowing some stranger to bleed all of his illnesses onto you. People get yucked out by catching things from blood, but will have sex with men unprotected.
Go and get a full std test and blood test at the hospital. it is free and also will put your mind at rest

Stiffness and pain doesn't sound anything like HIV.

Flu-like symptoms can be early HIV but more likely just a cold or a flu, i assume you kissed them, and thereforw swapped a lot of spit etc?

If you're worried get a blood test, since it was back in january it's been 6 months and you can probably get a difinative result, but they may want to test you again next january just to be extra extra extra sure.

i think you can make your self sick worring about it just go get afull panel std test and then you will feel better good luck and next time try and be more careful in the long run instant pleasure in not worth the greif

You should take a test. People can have different symptoms, so can never be really sure. It could be something else as well.
