Why???????????????????????????...

After he was diagnosed with HIV+, he did not disclose to his wife. He had tried to keep secret for 3 years (once his wife saw him taking ARV or saw the symptoms he tended to accuse as other illnesses....).

Now his status was already disclosed but not by him, it was disclosed accidentally by his brother because his brother thought he already told his wife. The wife wants to commit suicide after she was diagnosed with HIV once she knew his status.

why he had to keep secret till it was disclosed by itself? is it kinda of power relationship? why????????????

Ofcourse because he has power to control her. Firstly, we should understand who control the family economic if he is a breadwinner then he did not need to disclose. Also, he did not disclose because he thought wife is his property. If he disclosed, his wife may not allowed him to have sex anymore. I bet, during non-disclosure he did not use condom with her while he had sex with her because if he used, his wife would wonder and asked him the reasons of using condoms.

His status, finally, was disclosed by his brother suggests about his unwillingness to disclose. He may felt so dissapointed with his brother, and i wonder why he disclosed to his brother? was it because they both are male? so, male maybe understood each other?

why she wants to commit suicide because of him? if she was diagnosed with HIV but it did not mean that she gonna die soon. She should be strong, take care her self, goes to seek for health service and leave him is the best solution. Stop letting him control her.

Apparently he was ashamed and/or afraid or maybe angry that he had it and didn't care who he spread it to...but what he did by not telling her is sentence her to a life (whatever is left of it) with it too. How cruel is that? She didn't have the option to decide not to come into contact with him to help prevent her from catching it...she didn't know and probably had no reason to suspect.

It could happen to anyone in a relationship...

Possibliy he knew it would risk his relationship, but he liked he too much to risks it.
