Why is my skin flaking?

Okay, this has been bugging me for the past few days, but, in areas on my face, (around my lips and nose), in between my breasts, and in between my fingers I get these weird flakes.

What can possibly be causing my skin to do this? I'm a hypochondriac so these things kind of drive me crazy. I don't show any other symptoms, and I know flaky skin is a sign of HIV but I haven't had sex or anything like that.

Possibly a fungal infection but it may be just dry skin, see your doctor

Sun burn...

dandruff falling on to your body...ewwww

try a body scrub every once in a while, after the scrub dry off and moisturize. everyone has some skin that comes off. some people just have more than others.

maybe its dry skin! use some lotion! heck just go see a doctor!

go to ur dermotloligest it just might be ur skin!

It might be just dry skin. Try getting the coco butter creme and place over entire body after a warm shower. Your pores open up after a warm shower and retains moisture better at that time. Also use a soap that gives moisture like the Johnson and Johnson body wash. Try the stress release one that's my favorite. If this doesn't work after about 3 days and you see no change see the doctor it might be eczema Good Luck

Dehydration maybe.
Drink more liquids, fruit juice, Gatorade, water.

your skin is prolly dry..use some coco butter or some jergens.

Through out life I have seen many Hypochondriacs and somehow eventually they finally come up with some thing real, in the mean time that have irritated the family, friends , Doctors, to a point where no body cares anymore, sad, that a persons need for attention causes them to waste good money on unneeded Dr, Visits when there are so many people in the world who can't even afford to go to the Dr, with a real Emergency. This is a mental problem.
